How we use AI

YourHIRO uses AI to save you time when you build your profile. This page explains each place we use it, what we send, and what AI never does.
In short
- AI helps you build and check your profile. You review everything it suggests before you save it.
- AI does not decide who sees your profile, the order you appear in searches, or who is hired.
- Our AI provider is Anthropic. Its terms do not allow it to train its models on what we send.
Where we use AI

| Checking for contact details | profile text you have changed | AI checks that your text does not include an email address, phone number or other contact details, because Companies only see those after an Unlock. If it finds any, we ask you to remove them. |
| Checking a Document | the Document you attach, with its type and the name you give it | AI checks whether the Document appears to be what you say it is. The result is shown only to you and is not kept. |
| Tidying a deletion comment | the comment you leave when you delete your account, only if our own check still finds contact details or your name in it | We remove contact details and your name, using AI where needed, and keep the comment as anonymous feedback with no link to your account. |
What AI does not do
- It does not rank or filter Candidates. The order of search results is worked out by our own software, without AI, as our Privacy Policy explains.
- It does not decide whom a Company unlocks or contacts, and it does not decide who is hired.
- It never sends your information to be used to train AI models.
Our AI provider
Our AI provider is Anthropic, in the United States. For each task we send only what that task needs. Under Anthropic's terms:
- it may not train its models on what we send;
- it must keep what we send confidential; and
- it deletes what we send within 30 days, unless it is flagged for breaching Anthropic's usage rules, in which case it may keep it for longer.
AI can make mistakes
AI suggestions can be wrong or incomplete. Check what AI fills in before you save it, and change anything that is not right. A Document check is a helpful signal, not a guarantee that a Document is genuine.
